Once the seat of the Ahom and Koch dynasties, Assam once encompassed most of the North-east India along with Manipur and Tripura. Assam is about witnessing a heady mix of history, culture, and nature at the same time. The state is home to many wildlife reserves, which are further home to the one-horned rhino, other natural wonders like the Majauli Island and River Bhramaputra and more.
